The Galapagos is one of the most fascinating place of the world for scuba diving and snorkelling. It has been declared one of the

SANTA CRUZ

Santa Cruz island is de ideal place to wacht animals like: Gigant tortoises, marine lizard, blue footed bobies, sea lions and more. The principal airport of Galapagos island is located in Baltra from her you can arrive to Puerto Ayora in few time, with a combination of trip bya road through the different areas of vegetation on the Galapagos and a boat transportaion by the after by the Itabaca Canal. Puerto Ayora has a big variaty of services and tourist option. The hotels, restaurants and bars offer good services. In Puerto Ayora is easy to visit the Charles Darwin Station for to know Lonsome George, visit Tortuga Bay or visit Grietas.

 

FLOREANA

Floreana has a surface of 173 Km2, It´s name is in honor to the first Ecuador´s President Juan José Flores. The most important places to visit are: Post Office Bay, the Flamingo´s lagoon, Cormorant Point and the Pirat´s cove, and excellent place to practice snorkelling and diving is the Devil´s crown, It´s easy to see sea lions and blue footed boobies along the island, pinguins, flamencos , marine lizard and other exotic species. The life style is simple there is aonly a bar in Puerto Velasco. Floreana isa place where the fantasy, legends and mistery can be feeling ih the atmosphere.

 

 

 

SAN CRISTOBAL

With all the facilities like telephone , internet, hospital, hotels and restaurants, San Critobal has this name in honor to Cristobal Colon, this island is full of vegetation. The principal city es Puerto Baquerizo and is the first city that Charkes Darwin visited in 1835, 173 years ago. The second airport most import of Galapagos is located in this island. San Cristobal has the biger lagoon of water in the archipielago, in the island called Junco in this pace is normal to see swallows, blue footedboobies, flycatchers, and others kind of species, near the lagoon you can visit La Galapaguera to see le Gigant tortoise Galapagos. Others atractives places in the island are: Pitt Point, Loberia, Lobos Island, Colina Frigata, Kicker Rock, Ochoa Port, Cabo de Horno Beach and Grande Port.

 

ISABELA

Isabela is the biger island in Galapagos, in this island is located Caleta Tagus a natural port where the whalers and pirats painted their names in the rocks. This island has 6 volcanos and 5 of them have activity, in every volcano live unique specie of gigant tortoise in adiccion you can visit Sierra Negra Volcano. Here you can see flamingos, pinguins, marine lizard and several species of gigant tortoises, swea lions and sharks. You can visit too: Muro de las lagrimas, Elizabeth Bay, Ubina Bay and many interesting places.

 

 

 

FERNANDINA

Fernandina has a surface of 642 km2 and is the island with more volcano activity, the last eruption of the volcano´s Fernandina was in May 2005 for this reason the island doesn´t have a lot of vegetation and animals. But the Lava Lizard frecuently visit the island. Watch the Lava lizard is wounderfull to see how they change their color from dark green into red. Espinoza Point is an small beach with mangroves where it can see pinguins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

BARTOLOME

The best tourist point of Bartolome is the Pinnacle Rock a big rock of black lava, near to this place there are 2 beachs with a shape of a moon, from the highest of the mountain in Bartolome is posible to see Santiago, North Seymur, Baltra, Santa Cruz and Rabida islands. It´s a fantastic place to practice snorkelling ans swim, it´s one of the best places to see pinguins, sea lions, tropical fishes, rays and sharks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

NORTH SEYMUR

North Seymur is a fantastic placxe where is easy to do trekking, swim, snorkelling and diving. In the coast of the island It´s usually to see the sea lions swim in the water. North Seymur is located near to Baltra island both islands has similar vegetation, the path in the island take the tourist to se the Blue Footed Boobie´s nest. The principal atractions are: fragate birds, boobies, swallowsand sharks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GENOVESA

Genovesa has 2 principal tourist places: Prince Philips Steps and Darwin Bay, this is one of the most famous places to watch animals like: fragate birds, mask boobies, red footed boobies, sea lions and seals. When you practice snorkelling and diving the sea lions and hammerhead sharks will swim beside you. The Prince Philips Steps is an rock with the shape of steps, this place was called of this way because the prince Phillips visited the island genovesa in the 60´s.

 

 

 

 

 

 

RABIDA

There is an lagoon behind the red sand beah of the Rabida island. The sea lions and the pelikans nest in the surrounding. The island is very famous by the red sand in its beaches, inhabited and with a natural beutiful. Rabida is the ideal place if you like the birdwatching in their natural habitat. It´s a veru good place to practice snorkelling in this place ypu can seed 3 dolphin´s species.
