Besides Galapagos Islands cruises, which spend anywhere from five to fifteen days on the water touring the islands, there are plenty of options for land based Galapagos tours. Here are a few of the different options:
For those of you who are interested in exploring the Galapagos Islands but prefer to have your base on land (rather than on one of the many Galapagos cruises) there is always the option of island hopping. Island hopping is touring the various attractions of the islands during day-trips, and returning to a hotel to sleep every night. The main mode of transportation for island hopping are boats which will take you from site to site and return you to your homebase afterwards. This is a great way to see the Galapagos lifestyle and directly support the local economy.
We're a pioneer fishing company in the Galapagos with a permit to do 'Pesca Vivencial' charters, which we perform under world-class environmental controls and regulations. Most anglers who fish with us are going for Striped Marlin, but it's also possible to find Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna, and more! We have all the equipment onboard that you may need for trolling or bottom fishing, and our excellent crew, which consists of local, active fishermen, can ensure the fishing trip of a lifetime in the incredible Enchanted Islands.
Surfing in the Galapagos Islands can be done on various beaches around the islands as well as at other spots you can only get to with us, by boat, and this means there are plenty of waves to catch, year-round! Whenever you come to the islands we'll help you find the best swells, either North or South, depending on the time of year.
