Isabela Island startles the equator and is the largest of the Galapagos Islands with an area of 4,640 square kilometers (1,792 sq mi); it's also the tallest of the islands and one of the youngest. Wolf Volcano is 1,707 meters high (5,600 ft). Isabela Island is where vacationers can see Galapagos Penguins, Marine Iguanas and Flightless Cormorants to name just a few endemic animals species living on the island.
